Let’s make

some magic.

First, we chat. You tell me about your vision — whether that’s a foggy forest elopement, a disco-ball-and-denim kind of wedding, or just a cozy afternoon shoot with your favorite person. We’ll cover the good stuff: schedules, lighting, goals, and any Pinterest boards you’ve been hoarding. (Yes please.)

Next, we prep. I’m big on planning so that the day-of can feel easy. Think: timeline help, location ideas, wardrobe recs, and space to dream big. I’ve got you.

On shoot day, I roll up with multiple cameras, backup gear, snacks (usually), and a calming energy that says: you don’t have to worry about a thing. I shoot on dual SD cards for instant backups, and I’m ready for anything from low light to wild wind to last-minute location pivots.

My shooting style is all about collaboration. I’ll give you gentle prompts and direction, but it will never feel overly stuffy or critical.

When it comes to editing, I’m here to enhance what’s already there — not cover it up. No orange filters or airbrushed skin. Just true-to-you color, tone, and emotion, polished with care.

Let’s talk about

my style

So what type of a photographer am I?

I lean toward documenting your day as it unfolds(hence the term documentary-style photographer). However, I want to document it in the most artistic and unique way that I can. I love to play with light, shadows, color, and motion. I love to capture the little moments in between the big moments: a veil blowing in the wind, a cackle of laughter during the vows, a sweet kiss planted on a cheek during cocktail hour. I shoot film and digital, day and night, so no matter the scenario, I’ve got you covered.

Though I love a candid photo, I also believe it’s important to have some more posed and planned photos of the day. I try to give you the best of both worlds! Essential to my photographic process is making sure you feel comfortable in front of not just the camera, but in front of me. I bring a relaxed vibe that allows for your silliest and most serious self to shine.

You know when you look at a photograph, and you feel like it doesn’t even look like you? I try to do the opposite - I want you to see my photographs and think that looks like me, and I love it.

FAQS

Because life is confusing. And so is planning a wedding.

  • Elopement packages start at $1200. Shoot me an email to see all my pricing packages and browse my ‘posing when you’re not a professional model’ guide :)

  • I get it! Vetting photographers is not an experience most of us do every day.

I think there are a few things that are really important when deciding who’s going to document your day.

    1) Make sure you and the photographer get along! The initial call with the photographer is a great time to get to know them as a person, because they’ll be shadowing your for a large portion of your day. You want them to add to the atmosphere, not cause more stress.

    2) Transparency. Photographers should be able to explain their process, their pricing, and show you full galleries so you can see what might be delivered to you as a client.

    3) Do the photographer’s photos make you feel something? That’s the best sign. When you look back at these photos, you’ll want to remember how it felt to be surrounded by friends, family, nature, your lover, etc. Having a photographer who can capture more than just a beautiful pose, but the feeling of the day itself, is essential.

  • Honey, I’ve got you.

I am also incredibly awkward and uncomfortable in front of the camera, and so I try and go above and beyond to hype my subjects up. Almost no one that I work with is a professional model, and so I’ve got your back. I will guide you through some gentle and fun posing ideas, and make the process as fun and lighthearted as possible.

  • I generally deliver about 80 photos per hour of shooting. I curate my photos so you’re receiving the best of the best!

  • I love to edit, but it’s definitely editing with a light hand. I love to crop and create interesting angles and composition in my photos, but I don’t like to do too much when it comes to ‘photoshopping’. It’s very important to me that skin tones feel natural, and that the images represent the joy and aesthetic of the day. That said, if you have a pimple or a stray hair, I can get that out no problem!

  • Baby, a rain shoot?! That’s what dreams are made of.

And the schedule is always nice to have, but it’s also loosely held. I’m able to go with the flow.

  • Absolutely! I love to see it.

  • Always within a month of the date we shoot together. Usually faster than that. I love editing, and so diving into that process is one of my favorite parts.

  • I do. But we can talk about those options later :)

  • Definitely! Travel fees do apply.
